About L.Lanthorn

L.Lanthorn is the author of The Axe Master: Tale of a boy with shaky hands

She has been in love with literature since the age of 13—an affection sparked by her favorite novel, Mateo Falcone by Prosper Mérimée, a short but powerful story that ignited her passion for concise, emotionally resonant storytelling. Now 35, she is a proud wife and mother living in the vibrant Square One area of Mississauga.

When she’s not writing, she works alongside her husband in their family-run hospitality company. Although she holds a degree in management, her heart has always belonged to fiction—especially stories that give a voice to unlikely heroes.

The Axe Master is her first full-length novel and a reflection of her belief that success is never achieved without courage—and that taking charge of your destiny can transform not only your life, but the lives of those you love.
